Anniversary surprise from my wife... she picked me up from airport on 16hb november and drive us directly to a riverside resort. we checked-in and had dinner in the room.
Phad phed mackerel, grilled 'bawal emas', 'sambal belacan' and 'ulam-ulaman' was our menu cooked by my lovely wife. Alhamdulillah...because i am so hungry since i ate only 'roti canai' and fried noodle on the way from KK airport that morning.
Around 10pm, we went to the floating restaurant at the resort and suprisingly the aunty that worked there was fishing 'kuku@kakas' using manual spool and fried chicken bait. She fished three 'kuku@kakas' that night.
The next morning, we drive to fishing shop to buy the spool and line, bait half-cook 'roti canai' to try our luck with 'kuku@kakas' fish.
I fished two 'kuku@kakas' and my wife ten catfish (ikan duri)....
On second day, we tried again to get more fish but only have luck with kitang, blais (dikis), juvenile snapper and buntal...hahaha....
